Our evidence philosophy

Reproductive health is an area where enthusiasm often runs ahead of the evidence. We try to be careful about the difference between what is well established, what is suggested by human studies, what comes from mechanism or pre-clinical work, and what is still uncertain. When we publish educational content here, we aim to label it accordingly and cite sources.

We separate three kinds of information across this website:

• Label facts — the ingredients, amounts, directions and precautions printed on a product.
• Scientific evidence — published physiology and study findings, with their strength and limits noted.
• Marketing copy — how we describe a product, kept distinct from medical claims.

What you should — and should not — infer

• General physiological and nutritional information is not a diagnosis, treatment, cure or prevention of any condition.
• Dietary supplements are not medicines. Individual needs vary; if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or have a health condition, consult a qualified healthcare professional.
• No content here should be read as a promise about conception, egg or sperm quality, or IVF outcomes.

Topics we plan to cover

Our educational library is being built. Planned topics include:

Individual articles will be published here as each is written and reviewed against the literature. We would rather publish fewer, well-referenced pieces than many unsourced ones.
